From the knowledge of the territory, from the passion for quality, and from the desire to go beyond tradition, this blend of Syrah and Vermentino is born, aiming to be a new tribute to the terroir of Sulcis and its uniqueness. The Isola dei Nuraghi “Rosa Grande” from the Mesa winery is a wine floral rosé of great finesse and elegance, produced in the Sulcis area, in the southwestern tip of Sardinia. Mesa winery has always believed in the potential of this territory where extreme pedo-climatic conditions decisively influence wine production. For years, in this wonderful yet challenging corner of land, Mesa winery has pursued its production philosophy, based on respect for nature and varietal identities, and on a constant search for balance and elegance, taming the impact -never mild- that sun, sea, and wind have on our vineyards.

Syrah is grown on a clayey and calcareous soil near the sea, where warm days mitigated by evening breezes give the grapes a distinctive note that adds complexity and structure to the wine. Vermentino, “white gold” of Mesa; with its decidedly Mediterranean scents here, offers freshness, elegance, and great aromaticity. A bouquet of flowers and fruits that impresses with its breadth, variety, and richness.
