Rosé 'Sisters' Le Vie Angarano 2022

The Rosé “Sisters” is an interesting label with a feminine face produced by the Venetian estate Le Vie Angarano. In line with the artisanal approach typical of the winery, it is made in only a few thousand bottles, with the intent of offering an elegant and harmonious interpretation of one of the types of wine that is gaining increasing success, especially in international markets. It is produced with pure Merlot grapes, famous for its fruity softness and natural taste balance. Following the most modern trends dictated by the great rosés of Provence, it has a light color and expresses very delicate and fragrant aromas.

“Sisters” is a Rosé made by a Venetian winery that cultivates 8 hectares of vines in the hilly area of Bassano del Grappa. Le Vie Angarano is a historic estate in the area and produces quality wines, especially with the most famous international grape varieties that have been present in these lands for centuries. The Merlot grapes come from a vineyard of just over two hectares, which is finds itself at an altitude of about 120 meters above sea level, with exposure oriented along the north-south axis. The soils are medium-textured, quite loose, of alluvial nature with the presence of clays. The harvest takes place in the first half of September, with manual picking and selection of the best bunches in the vineyard. The grapes undergo a cold skin maceration for 60 hours followed by soft pressing. The must is vinified in white in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature and the wine matures for at least 5 months in steel tanks on the fine lees, before being bottled.

The Merlot Rosé “Sisters” Le Vie Angarano is a bottle with a young and fragrant face, which interprets the elegance of the famous Bordeaux grape variety very well. Very versatile at the table, it is appreciated with a platter of cold cuts, particularly with the Vicentine soppressa, with seafood stews or with a slice of baked salmon. It presents itself with a beautiful pale pink and delicate dress with luminous reflections. On the nose, it seduces with harmonious scents of peach flowers, violets, citrus hints, aromas of currants, wild strawberries, cherries, and raspberries. The sip is soft, with a seductive entry, mature and pleasantly fruity aromas, which find a perfect taste balance in a finish characterized by a clear freshness.
