The Rosso di Montalcino is a classic from Castello Banfi, produced since 1982 according to tradition. The Sangiovese grapes that make up the wine are harvested from various vineyards in the area, then the wine matures partly in large barrels and partly in barriques, a process that aims to restore all the complexity and potential structure. Black and red fruits meet licorice and tobacco on the nose, while on the palate it reveals a broad, concentrated, and harmonious structure, with beautiful persistence. Perfect with game and medium-aged cheeses
