The Rosso di Montalcino from the Pietroso winery is made from Sangiovese grapes, fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged for 12 months in Slavonian oak barrels. In the glass, it offers a bouquet with notes of sour cherry and cherry and a finish of pink pepper; the sip is dry and long, rich, intense, and elegant.
