The Ruché "La Tradizione" by Montalbera is a red wine made from indigenous and rare grapes of the Monferrato Astigiano. In this version, the wine is very balanced, sincere in its evolution of aromas, and with unmistakable herbaceous and floral characteristics accompanied by smooth spices.

This Ruché di Castagnole Monferrato “La Tradizione” is a red wine that comes from a careful selection of Ruché grapes, an indigenous variety of Monferrato that holds significant sentimental value for Montalbera, the family-owned production company. The winery has actively contributed to bringing it back into vogue in this part of Piemonte, and the result in this label is truly interesting. Enchanting aromas lead to a sip where the harmony of lightness reigns, to be savored with attention.

“La Tradizione” is a Ruché di Castagnole Monferrato that comes from the pure use of a native Piedmontese grape variety, cultivated in that area of Monferrato around the city of Asti, the Ruché. The vines of these varieties grow using the low guyot system in the surrounding parcels of Castagnole Monferrato, characterized by a dry calcareous subsoil. The grapes, once harvested and brought to the winemaking facilities of Montalbera, ferment alcoholically in steel, macerating for 10-12 days in contact with the pomace and the must. The aging then takes place for several months in stainless steel containers, and, after bottling, continues directly in glass for another 3 months, at the end of which the wine is ready to be marketed.

The red wine Ruché di Castagnole Monferrato "La Tradizione" presents itself in the glass with a ruby red color, crossed by more violet reflections at the rim. The aromas that envelop the nose tell of rich and concentrated sensations, where the fruit alternates with floral notes, also veering towards more spicy nuances. On the palate, it is full-bodied, warm, characterized by a balanced sip, in which the tannin is light. A label with which the Montalbera winery honors an indigenous grape variety of the Monferrato astigiano, giving value to local customs and habits.
