The Sancerre ‘Le Grall’ is a Sauvignon Blanc from the Loire with a rich and complex style, an expression of the savoir-faire of the producer Vincent Grall. In particular, for the label that bears his name, Vincent brings together grapes from the best and oldest plots of the estate, worked with the knowledge and experience of someone who has dedicated over 30 years to viticulture. Indeed, Vincent comes from a family of winemakers and spent 10 years assisting his uncles in their winemaking business, while simultaneously starting to plant a few vineyards on his own. In 2000, he decided to take the big leap, dedicating himself full-time to his own venture.
The ‘Le Grall’ Vincent Grall Sancerre originates from pure Sauvignon Blanc grapes grown on soils characterized by a high presence of clay and flint. The vines are over 30 years old and enjoy a full southern exposure. After manual harvesting, there is a careful selection of the grapes and then white winemaking. This takes place through soft pressing and alcoholic fermentation of the must in temperature-controlled 2,000-liter wooden vats, the same containers where the liquid matures for over 6 months until the final bottling, which occurs in very limited quantities.

Fascinating aromas of pineapple, lychee, grapefruit, elderflower, and flint present the complex aromatic bouquet, combined with varietal hints of tomato leaf and notes of vanilla derived from the aging in wood. On the palate, it is rich and balanced, with a dynamic and refined progression that rests on fresh fruity and mineral sensations.
