Sancerre 'Le Manoir' by Vincent Grall is an elegant and exotic white wine made from only Sauvignon Blanc grapes. It is produced in Eastern Loire on clay-siliceous and limestone soils, the so-called "terres blanches" from which grapes are obtained that will give intense aromas of pineapple and lychee. With aging, notes of wood and vanilla are added to the sensory bouquet, making 'Le Manoir' a gastronomic and complex wine that can be paired with smoked fish, savory puff pastries, or melted cheese.

The Sancerre 'Le Manoir' by Vincent Grall represents an interpretation of Sauvignon Blanc from the Loire that manages to combine the typical freshness of the grape and the territory with the roundness granted by aging in oak barrels, resulting in a balanced and irresistible blend. The foundation of Vincent's production vision is the protection of the health of the environment, a goal pursued through the application of various sustainable agronomic practices, such as organic fertilization and cover cropping of the vineyards.

'Le Manoir' Vincent Grall Sancerre is a 100% Sauvignon Blanc from vines aged between 8 and 30 years. These grow on rather heterogeneous soils, particularly on flint soils dating back 35 million years, clay and flint soils dated 100 million years, and finally soils rich in limestone gypsum dating back as much as 140 million years. The harvest is done by hand with careful selection of the bunches, which then undergo a gentle pressing. The must obtained is conveyed into 600-liter oak barrels for alcoholic fermentation, followed by maturation for several months always in oak on the fine lees, with periodic batonnage. The wine finally rests for a short period in stainless steel tanks before the final bottling.

The Sancerre Blanc 'Le Manoir' of the vigneron Vincent Grall has a straw yellow color with brilliant greenish highlights. The nose offers seductive hints of tropical fruit such as lychee and pineapple, enriched by suggestions of citrus and white flowers and notes of vanilla and fine woods. The progression on the palate is complex and balanced, agile yet complete, with the lively freshness joining the pleasant softness granted by aging in oak in an elegant finish marked by returns of exotic fruit.
