Sancerre “Les Quarterons” by Riffault is a rich and mineral white wine that expresses with complexity and naturalness the area of the Loire Valley. It is vinified only in steel tanks, with an aging on the lees for 24 months. It reveals a bouquet of citrus fruits, flowers and flint and a fresh, savory, citrusy, long and mineral taste. Organic Artisanal Wine made with old style methods

The Sancerre "Quarterons" by Sébastien Riffault is a wine from the Loire Valley, made with pure Sauvignon Blanc. Thanks to a cool continental climate and predominantly limestone soils, the famous French grape variety expresses itself in this area with wines of particular finesse and elegance, with subtle and delicate aromatic notes. The high-quality grapes and vinification only in steel allow for a full appreciation of the most authentic face of this wonderful and renowned terroir. It is a wine that seduces with its floral aromas, citrus and fruity notes, and its essential, fresh, and mineral profile.

The Sancerre "Quarterons" wine is made from the grapes of the Sauvignon Blanc vines that Sébastien Riffault cultivates in his estate near Sury-en-Vaux, in the area of the famous Appellation Sancerre. The family-run estate extends over 3 hectares and has been cultivated under certified organic farming since 2007, without the use of chemical products. Vineyard work is carried out with a horse, so as not to compact the soils and favoring oxygenation and vitality. In the winery, the focus is solely on guiding the musts in their transformation into wine, trying to intervene as little as possible, allowing malolactic fermentation to occur in a completely natural and spontaneous way. The artisanal philosophy of Sébastien, very respectful of the grapes, allows for the creation of labels capable of expressing the most authentic and genuine character of the terroir.

The “Quarterons” Sancerre by Sébastien Riffault is a wine produced with a gentle pressing of the grapes, followed by spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts in steel tanks. The wine matures on fine lees in steel tanks for 24 months and is bottled without clarification or filtration. It presents itself with a bright straw yellow color. The bouquet is of great finesse, with aromas of white flowers, citrus notes, fruity hints, nuances of aromatic herbs, iodized hints, and flint. The taste is intense and deep, with elegant, multifaceted aromas and a fresh, persistent finish.
