The Sciacchetrà by Forlini Cappellini is a Passito from Liguria of great charm, born from white vines cultivated on terraced slopes descending towards the sea and aged for 36 months in small barrels. It is soft, intense, and enveloping, with intense and overwhelming notes of dried fruit, flowers, and apricots.

The Sciacchetrà Riserva from the historic winery of the Cinque Terre by Forlini and Cappellini. The couple voluntarily decided to offer this unique and unrepeatable sweet and liqueur passito wine as a reserve, to allow the organoleptic qualities of the wine to refine at their best, showing themselves, at tasting, in a sublime manner.

When we talk about Cinque Terre in the wine sector, we refer to one of the most difficult pieces of land to cultivate, where the hand of man must be truly skilled, but also tenacious, as immense efforts are required to be able to harvest the fruits. The vines from which Sciacchetrà is obtained are not aromatic; mainly the Bosco is used, followed by small percentages of Vermentino and Albarola, carefully and confidentially cultivated on steep terraces located from 100 to 350 meters above sea level. In the cellar, the grapes are placed in special well-ventilated rooms where they undergo appassimento. The alcoholic fermentation takes place in steel, where the wine rests for a total of 12 months. The aging occurs in small oak barrels for a period of 36 months.

The Sciacchetrà Riserva is a beautiful amber yellow color, with intense golden reflections. On the nose, delicate hints of apricot are perceived against a floral background, with fragrant notes reminiscent of dried fruit, dates, and almonds. On the palate, it is intense, broad, and dense. On the sip, an excellent volume is noticeable, with peppery and salty hints, and an extremely long finish. Bright and luminous. A marine wonder!
