Sevuk White Dry from the Armenia Wines cellar is a white wine from Armenia perfect for accompanying fish and vegetable dishes with excellent value for money. This label is made from a blend of hand-selected Kangoun and Voskehat and is aged in steel for a few months. The pale straw yellow colour introduces fresh aromas of flowers and fruit. The sip is fruity, agile, fresh and harmonious

Armenia Wines White Dry Sevuk represents a sought-after Armenian white wine pleasant and balanced, derived from a blend of the indigenous white grape varieties Kangoun and Voskehat. The former, created from the crossing of different varieties from the region, is one of the most widespread grapes in the country, and its name translates to “resistant,” referring to its peculiar resistance to fungal diseases. On the other hand, Voskehat is one of the oldest Armenian grape varieties, cultivated for at least 3,000 years. Its name means “golden grape,” partly due to the color of the berries and partly because, according to legend, it was once valued as gold.

The Sevuk Armenia Wines White Dry consists of a blend of 80-20% of Kangoun and Voskehat, grown in the regions of Armavir and Vayots Dzor at an altitude between 850 and 1,000 meters above sea level. The harvest is done by hand, and the bunches are then gently pressed. Subsequently, the must obtained ferments for 2 weeks in steel tanks at controlled temperature, where it also remains for the subsequent aging period of a few months.

To the eye, the White Dry Sevuk Armenia Wines takes on a pale straw yellow color. The aromatic profile is fragrant and delicate in its perceptions of white flowers and yellow-fleshed fruit that combine with pleasant herbaceous notes. The tasting progression is agile and energetic, fresh and fruity, with remarkable balance. Thanks to its balanced taste, the White Dry Sevuk pairs well with various types of dishes such as fish first or second courses or with not overly flavorful land-based pasta or risottos. If daring to prepare an Armenian dish, we would opt for zhingyalov, a delicious fried flatbread filled with various vegetables.
