Spumante Brut Rosé Feudi di Romans is a fresh and lively sparkling wine, ideal to accompany fish and shellfish dinners or to toast with friends during a summer aperitif. With a fine and persistent perlage that introduces a fresh, enveloping and delicately savory sip on the finish, the nose offers aromas of small red fruits, rose petals and hints of citrus, complementing a smooth and vibrant drink

The Brut Rosé Sparkling wine from the Friulian winery Feudi di Romans is a bubbly with a fruity and floral aromatic profile that originates from the Isonzo area, in the eastern part of Friuli-Venezia Giulia. The origins of the Feudi di Romans winery date back to the 1950s, when Severino Lorenzon decided to invest in the Isonzo territory, at that time an abandoned land that few would have bet on. Today, the estate, which has grown from the original 5 hectares to the current 70 hectares of vineyards, is run by his son Enzo along with his grandsons Davide and Nicola.

Feudi di Romans Brut Rosé Sparkling wine is made from grapes grown on soils composed of noble clays, sand, and gravel. Following the harvest, which takes place in August, the bunches are destemmed, crushed, and after a brief skin maceration, pressed, with the obtained must undergoing alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. After a short maturation period and a rough filtration, the base wine is placed in autoclave and enriched with sugars and yeast for the foam creation according to the Martinotti Method, with a slow refermentation at controlled temperature. Subsequently, the sparkling wine is refrigerated, filtered, and bottled under isobaric conditions.

The Feudi di Romans Brut Rosé Sparkling Wine has a pale pink color with fine and persistent effervescence. Aromas of red fruits, rose petals, and slight citrus hints characterize the nose, with delicate mineral notes in the background. The taste is fresh, full, and persistent, with a pleasantly savory finish. This bubbly is the ideal choice for a refreshing aperitif, perhaps paired with snacks such as fish tartines or fresh cheeses.
