Ferrari's Brut Perlé is a Metodo Classico Millesimato sparkling wine that matures on the lees for 60 months. It represents one of the excellences of the Ferrari Winery and more generally of Trentino sparkling wine production. It is a pure Chardonnay with a fresh profile, typical of mountain regions, expressing rich complexity and aromatic intensity. A sparkling wine that captivates with refined floral notes, ripe fruit, and noble evolving hints of bread crust and dried fruit.
Trento Spumante Brut Perlé is a Blanc de Blancs produced by Cantina Ferrari from a careful selection of the best Chardonnay grapes from vineyards cultivated at an altitude between 300 and 700 metres, with south-east and south-west exposure. In these particular climatic conditions, the Chardonnay ripens slowly, maintaining a great freshness even when fully ripe. The fact that they can count on a wide range of plots with different characteristics always ensures a wide choice and a selection quality grapes on every vintage. After manual harvesting, they proceed with the traditional white vinification of the base wines. At the end of the ageing period, they proceed with the creation of the cuvée and the subsequent resting period on the lees, which lasts at least 60 months before dégorgement.
Cantina Ferrari's Spumante Brut Perlé is one of the labels that best represents the great Trentino sparkling wine tradition. In this land, Chardonnay has been at home for centuries and has adapted well to the cool climate of the area. It provides grapes that are very well suited to develop excellent Metodo Classico wines that combine complexity and freshness. The colour is straw yellow with brilliant golden reflections. The bouquet is intense and multifaceted, with scents of white flowers, fruity and citrus aromas, hints of pain brioche, toasted almonds and spices. The sip is characterised by a very lively momentum, which opens to a rich and complex centre of the mouth. The finish is pleasantly fresh, long and persistent.
