Domaine Stoeffler's Sylvaner 'Litre' is a white wine available in one-litre bottles. Made exclusively from Sylvaner grapes, this variety originated in Austria but has been cultivated in Alsace for centuries and is now one of the region's traditional varieties. The bouquet is fruity and fragrant, with floral hints, vegetal notes and slight mineral notes of chalk on the finish. The palate is taut and slender, agile, with good freshness and marked sapidity. Perfect paired with a traditional Alsatian dish: sandre au beurre blanc, or river pikeperch accompanied by a butter sauce
