“T14” by Guccione is a smooth, fresh and savory white wine from Sicily, produced with a short maceration on the skins and with vinification in steel tanks and in big oak barrels. It has a rich, articulated and Mediterannean aromatic profile, with scents of yellow flowers, orange blossom, citrus fruits and nuts. On the palate it is smooth, savory, fresh and deep

“T14” Guccione is an unusual and artisanal white wine, made by Guccione, a winemaker from Monreale. This white wine by Francesco Guccione is produced in his small family-owned business inherited from his great-grandparents and rightfully holds a place of honor among the whites of the sunny island. His production philosophy has always been associated with the principles of organic farming and is in biodynamic conversion, because for him it is essential that all the elements contributing to the successful outcome of the wine – soil, warmth, water, and light – are in harmony and can be enhanced.

“T14” Guccione comes from vineyards located 480 meters above sea level, on a clayey soil with a characteristic brown color. The harvest is manual in 20kg crates in the second half of September. Fermentation is initiated by natural yeasts inside large wooden vats and steel tanks. For Francesco, an important element for his wines, beyond the care he takes to grow the plants with as few chemical interventions as possible, is the role of the winemaker himself, who must know how to interpret the vintages and the grapes to make them express their best.

better.

The Trebbiano “T14” by Guccione appears in the glass with a beautiful bright golden yellow, a prelude to what we will find inside. The organoleptic analysis denotes a remarkable breadth of aromas, ranging from the floral bouquet characterized by yellow flowers such as broom and orange blossom – just to remind us of the Sicilian origin of the bottle – moving on to citrus fruits that contrast with the sweeter notes of honey and hazelnuts, and finally closing with Mediterranean scrub herbs. On the palate, the softness impresses, supported by an excellent structure, and it lingers on a mineral and savory backdrop with a fresh finish that invites you to drink.
