Trento Spumante Brut 'Domini' Abate Nero 2020
The Trento Sparkling Brut "Domini" is an intriguing and intense classic method, aged on the lees for 70 months. On the nose, it is elegant and fine, with notes of ripe yellow-fleshed fruit, candied cedar, and bergamot. On the palate, it is fragrant and creamy, mineral and very fresh, with notes of ripe apple and toasted hazelnut.

"Domini" Brut by Abate Nero is a Metodo Classico produced in Trento and made entirely from Chardonnay grapes. They are the fruit of a terroir that is extremely suited to sparkling wine, enclosed between the Dolomites and Lake Garda. Following the harvest, the grapes are softly pressed and sent to vinification. Once the base wine is obtained, it is bottled and made ready for re-fermentation in the bottle at the end of which it remains on the lees for about 70 months.
Abate Nero's Brut Spumante "Domini" shows itself in the glass with a golden yellow colour made even brighter by the lively and persistent perlage. The nose opens with a bouquet reminiscent of candied citrus fruit, bergamot, apple and ripe yellow fruit, with a background of mineral notes, bakery and a mouth-watering texture of toasted nuts. In the mouth it reveals great balance and an enveloping body, the fruit of the long ageing that has enhanced the taste with complexity and structure. It is defined by substance and elegance.
