Trento Spumante Brut Reserve 'Infinito' Cresta Nova 2017

Trento Spumante Brut Riserva di Cresta Nova is a Traditional Method produced from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes grown in the heart of the Trento DOC production area. The long ageing on the lees for five years does more than simply define the wine; it slowly transforms it, leading to a more mature and complex profile, where the bubbles become creamy and the aromatic profile takes on more developed notes. After disgorging, a small amount of ‘liqueur d’expédition’ is added to refine the palate and round off the finish. On the nose, there are hints of ripe yellow apple, notes of wilted yellow flowers, hints of French pastries and hints of candied fruit. The palate is full and creamy, with a savoury finish and very long, delicate bubbles. Perfect paired with a buttered risotto with scampi tartare
