The Valpolicella Ripasso Classico Superiore by Pietro Zardini is a deep and very spicy red wine, aged for about 2 years in barrels and barriques. It emanates intense sensations of coffee, black fruit, tobacco, and many spices. The taste is soft, concentrated, warm, and articulated, supported by excellent freshness.

The Valpolicella Superiore Ripasso "Pietro Junior" is a wine with a warm profile, where the bouquet of aromas is dominated by fruity notes and spicy hints. A blend where the grapes of the territory are the protagonists, expertly selected by Pietro Zardini, now considered one of the brightest young producers in all of Veneto. A label that is truly pleasant to drink, also thanks to a fresh vein that facilitates its flow, despite the good alcohol content.

This Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore is made starting from a blend that includes Corvina and Corvinone, with a pinch of Rondinella added as well. The must obtained from pressing the grapes ferments in steel, macerating on the skins for a total period of about 15-20 days. Subsequently, the must is made to "ripassare" on the pomace of Amarone for a month, according to the traditional production recipe that has always been used in Valpolicella for this type of red wine. The subsequent aging lasts for 24 months and takes place both in oak barrels and in barrique; after this maturation, the wine remains for a few more months in steel.

The Valpolicella "Pietro Junior" presents itself visually with a very concentrated and deep ruby red color. The nose is complex, announcing a rich layering of aromas, starting from black berry fruit and shifting towards hints of roasting, touches of spices with nuances of tobacco. On the palate, it has excellent body, with a warm soul in the mouth, where the sip presents a pleasant fresh imprint. A bottle that comes from a particularly traditionalist approach to viticulture, where the ancient techniques of Valpolicella are respected in every detail.
