The Valtellina Superiore Sassella "Marena" by Mamete Prevostini is a Valtellinese red wine made from Nebbiolo grapes, locally known as Chiavennasca, which matures for 12 months in oak barrels. It presents itself visually with a light ruby color streaked with garnet reflections and expresses notes of berries, marasca, and dried fruit on the nose. On the palate, it is harmonious, fresh, and velvety, with good body and excellent aromatic intensity.
