The Vermentino from Gallura "Elibaria" is a fresh, soft, and flavorful white wine, vinified only in steel. It emanates aromas of many aromatic herbs and exotic fruit that invite you to a enveloping, mineral, refreshing, and balanced sip

The Vermentino di Gallura “Elibaria” is a wine where the freshness of the varietal overwhelms the senses from the very first moments, leaving space for the minerality that so well tells the story of the Gallura terroir. A bottle with which the Contini winery pays tribute to the identity of the territory, enhancing the island's quintessential white grape, Vermentino, by working it exclusively in steel. An “evergreen” label, perfect for all seasons, whether at aperitif time or with a full meal.

“Elibaria” is a Vermentino di Gallura that comes from the Contini-owned vineyards located 200-400 meters above sea level. The Vermentino plants grow using the guyot system, sinking their roots into a granitic decomposition subsoil. The climate in this area is typically Mediterranean, characterized by mild winters and hot, breezy summers. After destemming, a gentle pressing of the grapes follows, and the resulting must ferments in stainless steel containers at a controlled temperature,

controlled, ranging between 16 and 18 degrees. The subsequent aging takes place for several months in both vitrified concrete tanks and steel.

The Vermentino di Gallura “Elibaria” develops in the glass with a straw yellow color, crossed by some greener reflections visible especially at the rim. The nose moves on a primarily fruity and floral weave, enriched by notes of aromatic herbs and slightly floral sensations. On the palate, it is light-bodied, slender, and dynamic, with a sip that highlights a beautiful freshness combined with a savory texture. Lightness and simplicity animate this label signed by the Contini winery, perfect for accompanying the great traditional fish dishes of southern Italy.
