The Viognier “Giovin Re” by Michele Satta is a Tuscan white with a French soul, a wine that speaks both the language of Tuscany and the Rhône. The winery experiments in many ways to best express its terroir, and the Viognier has found, in Livorno, a place to express itself in a new guise. On the nose, the typical aromas of white and yellow fruit emerge first, followed by fragrant notes of honeysuckle, vanilla flowers, and rose petals.
