Viognier 'Giovin Re' Michele Satta 2024
The Viognier “Giovin Re” by Michele Satta is a Tuscan white with a French soul, a wine that speaks both the language of Tuscany and the Rhône. The winery experiments in many ways to best express its terroir, and the Viognier has found, in Livorno, a place to express itself in a new guise. On the nose, the typical aromas of white and yellow fruit emerge first, followed by fragrant notes of honeysuckle, vanilla flowers, and rose petals. On the palate, it is intense and full-bodied, the creamy sip is balanced by great freshness and a pleasant bitter sensation in the finish. Leave it in the cellar for a few years, it will surprise you.
