Vouvray Sec "Au Bois des Dames" made by the French winery Maison Foucher is a Chenin blanc-based white wine harvested in the Loire Valley. The vines are situated on calcareous soils while the vinification and refinement take place entirely in steel tanks. The colour is a pale straw yellow with luminous greenish reflections and the bouquet is reminiscent of exotic fruit, apricot, peach and wild flowers. The taste is well-balanced, fresh, fruity and with an exotic aftertaste.
