The White 'Les Amuse-Gueules' du Château de la Vieille Chapelle is precious, a pure Bordeaux Sémillon, a rare sight on the Gironde coast. Vines over 40 years old are planted on sandy soils called oceanic, rich in limestone and swept by Atlantic winds. The nose presents aromas of citrus, apple and typical wax scents, seductive in company with marine notes of saltiness. On the palate it is medium-structured, with great flavour and freshness, but pleasantly fat

The White "Les Amuse-Gueules" from Château de la Vieille Chapelle is a wine originating from the Gironde area, located in the wine region of Bordeaux. The name of the Estate refers to a chapel of Roman origins, dating back to the 11th century, which has remained virtually intact around which the 22 hectares of land extend, 11 of which are entirely vineyard. The cultivation of the vineyards and winemaking is in the hands of the couple Fabienne and Frédéric, who work every day to ensure that their work can be responsible and sustainable towards the ecosystem that hosts them for wines of excellent quality.

The land where the vineyards of the White "Les Amuse-Gueules" from Château de la Vieille Chapelle are located is situated in the alluvial area of the Dordogne and mainly consists of fine and deep clays and pebbly residues. Viticulture follows the principles of organic and biodynamic agriculture, relying entirely on the rhythm of the seasons, respecting the different phases of development and growthboth the plants and the raw material: pesticides, herbicides, and any type of synthetic chemical substance are banned in favor of Silica and horn manure for a lush and welcoming soil. The grapes are harvested by hand, and in the cellar, spontaneous alcoholic fermentation occurs thanks to the action of indigenous yeasts. It ages for a few months in steel.

The color of the White "Les Amuse-Gueules" from Château de la Vieille Chapelle is a straw yellow with intense golden reflections. The bouquet of aromas is varied and recalls citrus notes of lemon and cedar, green apple in addition to beeswax and iodine notes; on the palate, it reveals itself as structured, understood, and fresh, characteristics that create an appropriate balance for an interesting drink. It pairs perfectly with dishes based on crustaceans and mollusks, smoked salmon, and light first courses based on seasonal vegetables; perfect also with fresh cow's milk cheeses.
