White Wine Casa Belfi

The Bianco by Casa Belfi is a wine with a strong personality, obtained respecting the natural rhythms and the respect of the spread fruit, it is not by chance that the vinification and maturation take place partly in amphora, in order to bring out the peculiar features of each variety. Fresh and fragrant, it reveals tropical and floral sensations, making it sapid and leaving a pleasant balance sensation.

WHITE WINE CASA BELFI DESCRIPTION

The Bianco by Casa Belfi is a splendid everyday wine that stands out for being expressive and dynamic. What a beautiful reality that of Casa Belfi, one of the local wineries that has set the course towards the revaluation of Prosecco, a wine debased by production aimed at quantity rather than quality. It is not easy, therefore, to decide to produce artisanally in an area where oenological forced practices are the order of the day, but Maurizio and Albino embarked on this road back in 1999, the year the winery was founded, and the results speak for themselves. The wines, whose value for money is incredible, are straightforward, invigorating and we would like them on our table every day. Refreshing juices of life!

This Casa Belfi white wine is made from a blend of Incrocio Manzoni and Chardonnay. The grapes used to produce the liquid come from very healthy vines, cultivated according to biodynamic principles. If chemistry is banned in the vineyard, in the cellar it is carried on without interventionism, so alcoholic fermentation is spontaneous and takes place for over 20 days in steel and amphora containers, with maceration on the skins fo 3 days. Ageing also takes place partly in steel and partly in amphora on the fine lees. No clarification, filtration or addition of sulphur dioxide.

The Casa Belfi Bianco already cheers on visual examination with its lively, veiled yellow. The first olfaction is an explosion of freshness, an essence we would like to use instead of perfume. Lime zest, bunches of white flowers and golden apple: what a delight! The sip is all about freshness and easy drinking, making this Bianco a flowing, iridescent wine. A picnic bottle, or rather a crate, given the ease with which it is drunk. A bucolic nectar!

When to open
To enjoy an artisanal wine at its best, we recommend you to let it 'breathe' at least 15-30 minutes before serving and, if necessary, to filter it to remove every possible deposit
When to drink
Wine good to drink now, but that can have a beautiful evolution after resting for a while in your cellar
Glass
Medium open goblet
Perfect for young and medium bodied white wines which don't require excessive oxygenation to open. The opening, slightly tighter than the body of the glass, favors the concentration of aromas towards the nose, enhancing the perception of aromas and limiting the dispersion
Longevity
You can easily cellar it for 2-3 years
