Dictador is a Colombian rum made from virgin sugar cane juice, produced in Cartegna de Indias, on the north coast of the country. Destilerìa Colombiana, real distillery name, was founded in 1913 by Don Julio Arango y Parra and is now led by his nephew Don Hernan. The distillation process takes place in part through the use of column stills and in part with discontinuous still.
In rum Dictador the ancient tradition of the Colombian rum is combined with modern and attractive Japanese style packaging. Its geographical location on the north coast of the country, facing the Caribbean Sea, it is an ideal microclimate for the growth and maturation of the rum, which takes place in ex-bourbon oak barrels. Its product range includes a variety of rum expressions, but also gin, coffee and even cigars.
Among its products, always award-winning, we advise you its 12 years, produced with Solera method. Rum Dictador is a refined Colombian rum, suitable for everyone, even for the most demanding.
