Feresin winery is situated in the old rural village of San Quirino, in Cormons, now known as the "City of Wine" and nerve center of the DOC zones of Collio and Isonzo. The history of family Feresin is inextricably linked to that of viticulture and the San Quirino, was Leopoldo, great-grandfather of the current owner, to gain possession of the territories of San Quirino, thus beginning a long and well-established family tradition, founded on deep connection with the land, the vineyard and its product more special wine. The passion, the love for the vineyards and the enthusiasm that has accompanied generations of Feresin driving the cellar have been handed down to David, owner and mentor of the company since 1994. The vineyards extend over 13 hectares cultivated and reared in accordance with the Guyot system. The care and precision with which they are managed have allowed the vines to be revealed in all their glory, in the belief that such painstaking care to ensure the best quality wine, even at the expense of potentially increased production. Of course, this belief is also followed by a careful process of winemaking in the cellar: the ancient methods of vinification and aging have been reinterpreted and used to obtain complex and long-lived wines, always, however, in full respect of tradition. It’s in this way that come to life unique wines, with a very unusual and surprising personality ; wines that we found special and beautiful to try.
