Fini Emiliano

Emiliano Fini's company was founded at the foot of the Castelli Romani volcano, when Anacleto Fini and his wife Giorgia began working the first plots of land and preserving a family tradition that has its roots in the figure of his grandfather Sebastiano, a winegrower. However, it was with Emiliano that the project took a decisive step forward: from simple cultivation to the production of distinctive wines, capable of expressing the territory through consistent and personal choices. On ten hectares of vineyards, amid volcanic landscapes and hill breezes, Cleto, a tribute to his father Anacleto, and Lavente, which recalls the soil in which the plants have their roots, take shape.

Fini Emiliano's production method is guided by a clear principle: respect for the territory and promotion of its typical characteristics. The Grechetto and Malvasia Puntinata vineyards are organically cultivated, with targeted pruning to obtain limited yields and thus promote concentration and quality. The soils, consisting of tuffaceous pyroclastic rocks, lapilli and volcanic slag from the Tuscolano-Artemisio phase, give the grapes a marked mineral character. In the cellar, the hand-selected grapes undergo crushing and soft pressing, followed by spontaneous fermentation and ageing on fine lees with a long period in the bottle. Every choice, from the vineyard to the bottle, is geared towards preserving authenticity, naturalness and volcanic expression.

Emiliano Fini's wines stand out for their balance, tension and expressive purity, capable of evolving over time thanks to ageing on fine lees. These are single-varietal, natural and volcanic wines that convey the ancient energy of the Alban Hills and the artisanal sensibility of a family that believes in its territory.
