I Cacciagalli

I Cacciagalli is a young company from Alto Casertano that produces wines that are extremely expressive of their terroir, in respect of nature and with a love for traditional craftsmanship. The company is run by the couple Diana Iannaccone, a young agronomist, and Marco Basco, a passionate connoisseur of the wine world, and represents the life path they have courageously embarked upon, driven by the dream of creating sincere and intense wines.

The name of the company comes directly from the land that hosts it, a farmhouse owned by the Iannoccone family for generations. Over time, the experience gained here in the cultivation of vines, hazelnuts, chestnuts, and olives has become a precious tradition to pass on, accompanied by a pure passion for the world of wine and the desire to lovingly express their land and their story. The ancient cellar of Diana's family has been renovated in light of the needs and times that nature requires. The environment surrounding the company is dominated by the Roccamonfina volcano, no longer active and which has left an extremely rich and mineral soil, an ideal fertile cradle for vineyards. The territory is also crossed by the Volturno river, which provides other important nutrients. The result is perceived in the fresh and mineral wines of I Cacciagalli, whose grapes have grown in warm and dry days and have rested in mild and breezy nights.

The choice to allow nature to shape the personality of the wines has led the company to forge a solid philosophy, applying the principles and practices of biodynamics in the vineyard. Significant is the use of terracotta amphorae for the vinification of the grapes: in this way, all the aromas are preserved intact. The Casertano terroir is thus narrated by the wines born from the love of Diana and Marco, with an intense and elegant character, an expression of love for their land.
