Melanie Pfister
The Pfister family boasts over two centuries of winemaking history, having officially started their business in 1780 in Dahlenheim, a small village located a few kilometers west of Strasbourg, which boasts a millennia-old wine tradition. Indeed, evidence highlights the importance of Dahlenheim for viticulture as early as the 9th century AD and during the Middle Ages, when the village became a true winemaking hub. Today, the Domaine is managed by the eighth generation of the family, represented by the young Mélanie, who took over the Domaine in 2008 after completing her studies in agricultural engineering and oenology between Bordeaux and Burgundy. This talented winemaker has gained experience at prestigious wine estates such as Zind-Humbrecht, Méo-Camuzet, Cheval Blanc, and d'Yquem. Additionally, Mélanie is part of the association "Les DiVINes d'Alsace," which brings together the women producers of the region.
