Miraval
Miraval is a young French production reality located in the heart of Provence. The estate is just a few kilometers from the historic village of Correns; in 2008 it was purchased by Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, who decided to entrust production to the Perrin family, renowned throughout the Rhône Valley for their great winemaking skills. Savoir-faire and artistic sensitivity thus come together in a single project, giving life to a winery that still has its roots in the concepts of light, soul, and creative inspiration. The vineyards grow on predominantly limestone and clay soils organized in terraces with dry stone walls at an average altitude of 350 meters above sea level, ensuring a perfect balance between harmony and freshness.
The vineyards of Miraval extend over approximately 600 hectares, where five different main varieties are cultivated: Mourvedre, Cinsault, Grenache, Syrah, and Counoise. The producer's goal is to prioritize attention to the environment and nature at every stage, from work in the vineyard to that in the winery, safeguarding biodiversity and the ecosystem in which it operates. Over the past three years, several geological studies have been conducted on the estate that have revealed some exceptional parcels, some of which are located outside the AOC boundaries and will soon be cultivated.

The labels represent the glamorous soul of the land from which they come and enhance the colors and the light that caresses and illuminates these areas. Research and innovation are fundamental principles for this reality that does not forget its origins but seeks to dress them in new clothes to keep up with the times. Tasting the wines from this winery, one might find themselves for a second immersed in the typical lavender fields and caressed by the sun of an unforgettable land: Provence.
