Peyrot

Peyrot is a Maison that has been dedicated with commitment and passion to the production of unique and inimitable Cognacs for four generations. Grandparents Jean and Mathilde started the distillation activity in 1956, beginning with 7 hectares of vineyard. Over the years, the estate has significantly expanded, and the Maison has established itself internationally for the great finesse and delicacy of its products.

The Maison Peyrot produces its Cognacs from grapes harvested in the vineyard “Les Bergeronnettes”, which today extends over 25 hectares in the municipality of Jarnac, in the Cru of Grande Champagne. The work in the vineyard follows the principles of integrated pest management: all activities are carried out in harmony with the environment, prioritizing quality over quantity. The use of pesticides and chemical fertilizers is indeed banned, while cover cropping is practiced, which helps restore the natural balance.

In the cellar, imbued with the essences of wood and evaporated alcohol, the Peyrot Cognacs take shape, whose wonderful aromas are revealed thanks to the infallible skill of the “maitre de chai.” The Maison has also developed a wide range of Cognac-based liqueurs, obtained through a skillful blend of natural fruit aromas and Cognac. Among these, the most famous and the most awarded must be mentioned: the Liqueur au Cognac Poire, which in every glass expresses all the freshness of the pears grown in the valleys of the Black Forest. The products of Peyrot are soft and seductive, some ideal for social occasions, such as aperitifs or after meals, others suitable for moments of meditation. All express with vigor the quality and elegance of Grande Champagne.
