Pouillon is one of the most symbolic maisons of Champagne from the Vallée de la Marne, which over the years has carved out a place among the most prestigious Recoltant Manipultant in the area. It is located near the small village of Mareuil sur Ay, in the municipality of Montigny, just a few kilometers from the city of Reims. It all began in 1947 when Roger Puillon, initially a winemaker for a Champagne merchant, decided to cultivate the few hectares owned by the family. The support of Louis Baulant, the uncle of Roger's wife and a great name in the wine world, was crucial as he taught him the basics of producing the first bubbles. Roger's great passion for his land and products led him to create the brand "Champagne Roger Pouillon". Four generations followed, until reaching Fabrice, the current owner of the maison. The sensitivity and connection to the land of origin, demonstrated in the past by the family, has reached the highest and most philosophical peaks with the last heir.
