Domaine Thibault Liger-Belair is located in Nuits-Saint-Georges, in the heart of the Côte de Nuits, the northern part of the Burgundy vineyard. This is a historic estate, present in the area since the 18th century, which has been able to pass on the best traditions over time, preserving an artisanal spirit and a family-run structure. The deep knowledge of the places allows the domaine to produce wines of high quality, capable of expressing all the nuances of the Appellations of the Nuits-Saint-Georges area, among the most renowned ever for the production of great Pinot Noirs, capable of combining power, richness and elegance.

The estate has a total area of just over 7 hectares and is managed with the utmost care for nature and environmental biodiversity. All chemical products are banned in the vineyards and the rules of organic farming are applied, also using preparations from biodynamics. Tillage in the countryside is done with horses, so as not to compact the soils and keep them soft. In keeping with the Burgundian tradition, the rows are planted with a high density of vines per hectare so as to achieve low natural yields. The vines produce few clusters, but are characterized by remarkable aromatic richness and elegance. The domaine is a true mosaic, in which each parcel is specifically cared for according to the particular local microclimatic conditions, soils and age of the vines.

The richness of the Domaine Thibault Liger-Belair lies above all in a heritage of outstanding vineyards, which includes plots in the famous crus: Clos Vougeot, Corton, Corton Charlemagne, Charmes-Chambertin and Richebourg. Each parcel is vinified separately, following the principles of light and unobtrusive winemaking, which always leaves the quality of the grapes in the foreground. Aging follows Burgundy traditions, using French oak barrels for a period that can range from 12 to 18 months. The labels are distinguished by their ability to faithfully interpret the characteristics of each individual terroir in the name of elegance and longevity.
