"Zigara" bottle-fermented wine from the winery in the Marche region of Italy, Tenuta Ca' Sciampagne, is a lively, drinkable semi-sparkling wine perfect for accompanying light-hearted convivial moments. This label is made with white and red grapes harvested by hand and fermentation using only indigenous yeasts. The colour is a brilliant light red, while the aromas are reminiscent of crunchy strawberries, sour cherries and vegetable sensations. The taste is agile, fresh, juicy, fruity and harmonious.

Tenuta Ca’ Sciampagne ‘Zigara’ Bottle Fermented is a rosé wine made using the Ancestral Method with a spontaneous and carefree character. Within the Montefeltro area, a few kilometers from the city of Urbino, Tenuta Ca’ Sciampagne offers bold and sincere interpretations faithful to the territory, made with deep respect for the soil-plant system. Among the cultivated grape varieties, spread over about 9 hectares, the indigenous Biancame, also known as Bianchello, occupies a central position, alongside Sangiovese, Albana, Alicante, Aleatico, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc.

The Bottle Fermented ‘Zigara’ from Tenuta Ca’ Sciampagne comes from a blend of white and red grapes, the former planted in 1986 and the latter in 2009. The vineyards, rooted in clay-limestone soils rich in minerals, are managed according to the principles of certified organic farming, with very low yields per hectare. The harvest is carried out entirely by hand, with careful selection of the bunches, and subsequently, destemming and crushing take place, which precede the spontaneous alcoholic fermentation in steel. The sparkling process follows the Ancestral Method, with bottle fermentation without the addition of exogenous sugars. Throughout the entire winemaking process, the mass does not undergo clarifications, filtrations, or any corrections.

‘Zigara’ Tenuta Ca’ Sciampagne Bottle Fermented expresses a bright light red color. The nose is rich and fragrant, with notes of wild strawberry and sour cherry combined with pleasant vegetal and herbaceous descriptors, while the palate is delicate and agile, fresh and easy-drinking, with a juicy fruity finish. Thanks to its accessibility and carefree drinkability, ‘Zigara’ represents an ideal pairing for moderately aged charcuterie boards.
