"Ziru" by Antonella Corda is a fresh, Mediterranean white wine with pleasant savory sensations that is aged in terracotta amphorae, called Ziru in Sardinian dialect. With a rich and substantial structure, with a vibrant, lightly tannic and clean sip, it is enriched with notes of Mediterranean herbs, citrus fruits, white pulp fruit and marine memories

The “Ziru” by Antonella Corda is the latest creation of the Sardinian winery, a white wine vinified in amphora deeply territorial and engaging. Indeed, because literally in Sardinian 'Ziru' is a dialect term that indicates the jars and terracotta amphorae in which farmers store oil and wine, the same ones used during the winemaking process and that denote Antonella's relentless desire to experiment. 15 hectares dedicated to the vineyard, cultivated in a respectful and careful manner, as is inherent in the local culture, allocated to indigenous grape varieties such as Cannonau, Vermentino, Semidano, Nuragus and others, interspersed with crops such as cereals, olive trees, and orchards, creating a charming bucolic picture and biodiversity. Antonella's wines connect the deep territorial imprint given by the island to a refined yet non-intrusive style. A gentle hand that supports without distorting and without leaving anything to chance.

The white “Ziru” is a wine obtained from local white grape varieties, coming from vineyards that rest on marl-limestone soils and that are cultivated with very low yields. In the vineyard, as already mentioned, work is done with the utmost respect for the environment and biodiversity, harvesting the grapes manually to make a rigorous selection of the best bunches available. In the winery, the process continues with alcoholic fermentation and maceration on the skins for about 20 days, followed by aging of 24 months in terracotta amphorae. The liquid undergoes no filtration before bottling.

The wine “Ziru” presents itself in the glass with a captivating intense golden hue. The olfactory impact, engaging and intense, outlines a picture of rare complexity made of peach and ripe fruit, bouquets of white flowers, wild herbs, and saline breezes. The sip is no less, revealing a juicy and rich liquid, enlivened by a pleasant tannic friction and a pronounced saline component. Great wine that summarizes history, territory, and tradition.
