The white "2micas" Loureiro from the bodega Vides Singulares is an artisanal wine of great territorial typicity. The La Diestral plot is located near Concello de Coles, in the municipal territory of Ferreiros, in the Galician province of Ourense. The Loureira vineyard is about 13 years old and is situated in a beautiful hilly area at an altitude of 250 meters above sea level with a very sunny exposure.very sunny facing south. The soils are shallow, composed of granite-origin sand, with a high concentration of mica. The harvest is done manually with selection of the bunches in the vineyard and then also in the winery. The grapes are first destemmed and then sent for vinification with a 5-day maceration on the skins. Fermentation occurs spontaneously using only indigenous yeasts in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine ages for a period of 9 months in 400-liter French oak barrels and is then bottled without clarification and filtration.
