Adenzia Bianco Baglio del Cristo di Campobello 2024
The L'adènzia Bianco is an intense white wine, obtained from the union of the Sicilian grapes Grillo and Insolia refined in steel. It is an authentic Sicilian expression: sapidity, freshness, and minerality with fruity, herbaceous, and vegetal nuances.
The Adènzia white combines the moods of the Island, made of salt and sunshine, with an elegant and complete interpretation. The Bonetta family, wishing to produce liquids that testify to their strong bond with the Sicilian land, decided to enhance a little-known area, namely that near Licata. The idea is to immediately make use of equipment and consultancy capable of giving a precise line to production, therefore Riccardo Cotarella, one of the most famous winemakers in Italy, is called in, and the cellar is carefully renovated. Local indigenous grape varieties such as Grillo, Nero d'Avola, and Inzolia are accompanied by international varieties such as Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Chardonnay that adapt very well to this particular climate. A reality in constant growth, deserving of the recognition obtained by virtue of territorial liquids but endowed with an almost international flair.
The Adènzia white is obtained from a blend of Grillo and Insolia, with grapes coming from vineyards located at 260 meters above sea level that grow on hilly limestone soils.limestone. However, the modernity of the equipment in the cellar coincides with ancient and artisanal gestures, such as that of manual harvesting, which takes place carefully in order to select only the best bunches for the harvest. After transporting the grapes to the cellar, soft pressing and cold sedimentation decantation are carried out, with fermentation occurring in steel, as well as the aging of the liquid which lasts 5 months on the fine lees. Another two months of resting in the bottle before being put on the market.
The Adènzia white fills the glass with its lively straw-yellow hue, edged with greenish reflections. Nose of extreme finesse, played on crunchy and saline notes, which refer to the sea of Sicily, to grated citrus peel, to wild herbs, and to loquats. Its profile immediately entices tasting, which proves to be equally focused and interesting. The pronounced sapidity and mineral notes are balanced by a contribution of pulp and matter that make the sip enveloping and fleshy. Its price-quality ratio is so advantageous that it makes it a wine to stock in the cellar, as it is versatile. Suitable for numerous occasions and gastronomic pairings.
