Blangé is a cult white wine from Piemonte, a rich and exuberant expression of the native Arneis grape, which became an icon in the 1980s and '90s. Its success continues today and it is found in restaurants all over the world as one of the most famous whites of Italy, both a bestseller and a long seller. It was born in 1985 from the intuition of the Ceretto family as a great gamble by brothers Bruno and Marcello who, during the glory days of the great red wines of Piemonte, rediscovered an almost forgotten grape variety: Arneis. The name Arneis Ceretto comes from the dialect pronunciation of one of the first plots from which the Caretto Brothers began to produce this label.
