Bruno Rocca Barbaresco is a 100% Nebbiolo coming from vines rooted in clay and limestone soils, also characterized by the presence of tuff and sandy veins. After manual harvesting and the first selection of the grapes in the vineyard, a second sorting takes place in the winery, with the grapes then being pressed in stainless steel tanks for spontaneous alcoholic fermentation, accompanied by 20-25 days of maceration.on the skins. Once the fermentation process is completed, the liquid is racked into oak barrels where malolactic fermentation occurs spontaneously and aging takes place for about 12 months before bottling and further resting in glass.
The color of Bruno Rocca's Barbaresco is intense and brilliant garnet red. A complex and refined olfactory range, capable of evoking aromas of dark fruits such as blackberry, plum, and sour cherry, with a finish that recalls spices, tobacco, and wilted flowers. On the palate, it is warm and enveloping, fresh and elegant, with a pleasant tannic structure that leads to a beautifully persistent finish. This Barbaresco is the natural companion for main courses based on red meats or game, such as stews or roasts with brown sauce.
