The Barbaresco “Noce Grande” by Cascina Chicco is a traditional Barbaresco, a wine of great elegance and thickness of great intensity. The grapes macerate for 40 days to achieve a level of extraction of color and tannins that is truly important. On the nose, the typical hints of violet and cherry meet sweet spices and pleasant menthol notes that refresh the sip. On the palate, it is soft, silky, rich, and well-balanced, a complex red perfect for sipping with intense dishes

red vinification process, through 15 days of alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks in contact with the skins, with a total skin maceration period lasting approximately 40 days. The subsequent aging phase takes place in oak barrels and lasts for 24 months before bottling and further resting in glass prior to the final market release.

Visually, the Barbaresco ‘Noce Grande’ from Cascina Chicco expresses a bright ruby red color. The olfactory range is articulated with hints of red fruits, violet, and sweet spices, supported by pleasant mentholated puffs. On the palate, it is intense and quite structured, soft and rich, with great balance thanks to the lively freshness and well-integrated tannin.
