The Barbaresco Riserva "Asili" by Produttori del Barbaresco is an important and intense wine that satisfies the palate of all enthusiasts. In fact, it is a typical expression of what the Nebbiolo grape can express after an important refinement in wood, maintaining some of its primary characteristics, such as fruity and floral notes, while also showcasing tertiary aromas derived from the aging period spent in wood. This "Asili" Barbaresco Riserva is made from 100% red Nebbiolo grapes, the quintessential grape variety of Piedmont. The vines are cultivated in clayey and calcareous soils, characterized by sandy veins, facing south and southwest. The must ferments in steel containers at a temperature of 30 degrees, macerating for 28 days on the skins and undergoing malolactic fermentation. This is followed by aging, which lasts for 36 months in oak barrels, and then, after bottling, continues for another 6 months directly in glass.

The Asili is a Barbaresco Riserva that, in the glass, takes on a ruby red color, with evident reflections that tend towards garnet in the nail. The olfactory spectrum is orchestrated around complex and multifaceted notes that start from ripe red fruit and then move towards floral touches and more balsamic and spicy hints. On the palate, it is full-bodied, muscular, with important tannins that never compromise the drinkability, always round and enveloping in the mouth. It ends with a finish characterized by great and long persistence.
