The Barbera d'Alba by Elio Altare is an extremely elegant interpretation of this well-known Piedmontese grape variety. Made in the 'Altare' style one hundred percent, with a short aging in barriques. The olfactory spectrum is fine and dark, with aromas of small red fruits, plum compote, earth, and sweet spices, lightened by mineral puffs. On the palate, it is rich and enveloping, supported by excellent freshness and fruity length
