Artisanal
Perfect to drink every dayThe Barbera d'Asti "Da Sul" by Laiolo Reginin is a convivial red wine, seemingly simple but with incredible finesse: with its ruby red appearance streaked with almost purplish reflections, it releases varietal scents of blackberry and ripe cherry, floral aromas of rose and violet with light balsamic hints of mint. On the palate, it is soft and well-balanced, enlivened by a pleasant citrus freshness and savory details, with a long aromatic finish reminiscent of fresh fruit.
The Barbera d’Asti “Da Sul” by Laiolo Reginin is born from a highly artisanal process, which results in a limited production of only a few thousand bottles. An exclusive and unique product, originating from a century-old vineyard, achieving very high quality levels in every bunch. A label that flows with great simplicity and ease, playing on a finesse that is however never common, contributing to tell the story of a winery with a highly tailored profile where every wine is made with attention and care for details.
The Barbera d’Asti “Da Sul” originates from a century-old vineyard, characterized by a subsoil composed of marls and clays. A true cru where the Barbera grape can grow expressing its full potential, thus reaching the harvest phase with ripe bunches full of prospects. The must ferments spontaneously thanks to the presence of indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks, macerating on the skins for a total of 40 days. The aging then takes place for several months in large oak barrels, until the wine is ready to be bottled and marketed.
“Da Sul” Barbera d’Asti by Laiolo Reginin presents itself visually with a concentrated ruby red color, endowed with a beautiful intensity and crossed by light violet reflections visible at the rim. The nose opens with small red and black berry fruits, then shifting towards a panorama of floral notes, from which a more balsamic hint emerges. On the palate, it is smooth-bodied, with a tasty sip endowed with a fresh and savory imprint. The highest qualitative expression of the entire range produced by the winery, presented at a price that one simply cannot refuse.
