The Barbera d'Asti "La Solista" from the Piedmont winery La Caudrina is a territorial expression with an excellent quality-price ratio, perfect for everyday meals. The namesake grapes in purity are selected from vines grown on calcareous soils, and the winemaking takes place entirely in steel. The intense ruby red color with violet reflections reveals aromas of ripe fruit and fresh flowers. The sip is agile, soft, fruity, and tasty

The Barbera d'Asti "La Solista", produced by the La Caudrina winery, is a young and fruity version of the popular red grape variety from Piedmont. Crafted with artisanal care, it directly expresses the best varietal characteristics of the grape, thanks to a meticulous winemaking process. The choice not to use wood allows for the appreciation of the pleasantness of the fruity aromas in their clear expressive purity. An excellent bottle inspired by the daily tradition of the area, to be enjoyed at the table for a dinner among friends with pasta al ragù, white meats, or a platter of flavorful local cured meats.

"La Solista" is the Barbera d'Asti from the La Caudrina winery, a family-run business that has been cultivating vineyards in the lands of Castiglione Tinella and Nizza Monferrato for generations. The 22 hectares of the estate produce honest and sincere wines that directly express the face of the terroir. The wine is made from grapes sourced from some parcels of the estate, located in the municipal territory of Nizza.Monferrato, in one of the most vocated areas of all of Piedmont for Barbera. The vineyards cover a total area of 2 hectares and are located in a sunny hilly area at an altitude of 250 meters above sea level, with a south-southwest exposure. The soils are calcareous in nature and impart elegance and finesse to the wine. Fermentation takes place in a simple and traditional manner, in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks at around 24 °C, with a skin maceration period of a couple of weeks. After a few months of aging in steel tanks, the wine is bottled.

The red Barbera d'Asti "La Solista" La Caudrina is a fragrant and carefree wine, with a simple and convivial character.
