The Bardolino Classico wine from Bigagnoli is born in the locality of Calmasino, within the municipality of Bardolino. The wonderful landscape formed by soft hills of ancient morainic origin offers splendid sunny exposures, always ventilated thanks to the gentle breezes of Garda. It is here that Alessio Bigagnoli cultivates half a hectare of vineyard with plants that have an average age between 20 and 30 years. The vines of Corvina, Rondinella, Garganega, Molinara, and Oseleta are primarily trained in pergola, on soils rich in pebbles and gravel. Following the careful work in the vineyard, there is an artisanal approach in the winery, with the aim of producing a few bottles.characterized by a very expressive varietal profile that is consistent with the characteristics of the territory. At the end of the harvest, the fermentation of the grapes takes place in stainless steel tanks with a 7-day maceration on the skins and frequent pump-overs. The wine matures for several months in steel tanks before bottling.
