The Barolo Riserva by Ricossa originates in the Langhe, but the winery is from the Astigiano area. The grapes, hand-picked from 25-year-old vines, create a Reserve that matures for at least 62 months, of which 18 in oak barrels. On the nose, mature notes of cherry and plum emerge, floral hints of violet, leather hints, and sweet spices. The palate is full and warm, with smooth tannins, good freshness, and a long finish. Perfect with a Barolo braised beef
