The White 'Li Sureddi' by Antichi Vigneti Manca is a white wine made from Vermentino and Girò Bianco produced in Romangia by two sisters (sureddi in Sardinian dialect) who since 2017 have created a project that aims to respect the vine, the land, and its natural cycles as much as possible in the vineyard and cellar. This white undergoes a short maceration on the skins and a long aging in cement, acquiring body, structure, and great personality. On the nose, it is profoundly Mediterranean, with notes of ripe fruit and aromatic herbs, while on the palate it offers a full and intense sip, very persistent, elegantly telling the story of the sun and the sea that caress the wonderful coasts of Sardinia.

The White “Li Sureddi” from the Sardinian winery Antichi Vigneti Manca is an intense and rich wine that transparently reflects the sunny and Mediterranean character of its land of origin. It originates in the first hilly inland area of Romangia, the beautiful northwestern region of the island. It is the result of vineyards managed with great care and vinifications carried out in a handcrafted manner, trying to intervene as little as possible to highlight the varietal notes of the grapes and the peculiarities of a very vocated terroir. Intense and with rich and expressive fruit, it is a white wine with a gastronomic vocation, which pairs very well with seafood pasta dishes, grilled fish, or fish cooked in salt.

The “Li Sureddi” White from Antichi Vigneti Manca comes to life in an estate located along the stretch of coast between Porto Torres and Castelsardo. The area is characterized by a warm and always very breezy climate due to the constant presence of the Maestrale, which blows fiercely from the northwest. The vines are mainly trained as bush vines and are between 40 and 50 years old. The soils are composed of white marls rich in limestone and sandstones, of ancient marine origin. The clusters of Vermentino and Girò Bianco are pressed very gently and the free-run must is sent for fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine matures in cement tanks for about a year, also undergoing malolactic fermentation, and is bottled with a minimal addition of sulfites.

The White wine “Li Sureddi” from Antichi Vigneti Manca is a perfect interpreter of the land of Sardinia, with a enveloping, savory character and pleasantly fruity. In appearance, it presents a bright golden yellow with brilliant reflections. The olfactory profile is rich and broad, characterized by aromas of yellow fruit, peach, loquat, pineapple, hints of wildflowers, Mediterranean scrub herbs, rosemary, helichrysum, thyme, iodized and balsamic nuances. With good structure and aromatic intensity, it stands out for its mature and harmonious connotation, characterized by dense fruity aromas, crossed by a clear savory trail and balanced freshness.
