From our sommeliers

The Gewürztraminer 'Pantagruel' from the Cantina di Cunéaz Nadir is a rich and enveloping white wine from the Aosta Valley, as its name suggests. The grapes come from the vineyards of Gressan, and the winery began producing this variety in the early 2000s, when it first arrived in the valley. The vinification process involves 12 hours of maceration on the skins followed by spontaneous fermentation in used barriques, with eight months of ageing in wood. The nose opens with notes of exotic fruit, hints of rose petals, citrus notes and hints of sweet spices. The palate is full and harmonious, with a velvety softness and a salty finish that lengthens its persistence. It pairs naturally with a Valle d'Aosta-style cutlet
