The Bianco by Sette is an 'orange' wine from this Monferrato winery, in love with its terroir and amphora. The clusters grow in the shade of leaves, left thick to keep the freshness of the final wine high. Aromas of peach and citrus zest meet pleasant yeasty hints. The palate is fresh, fragrant and moderately structured. The pleasantly 'funky' sip is decidedly smooth, drinkable and gastronomic

Bianco Sette is a white wine macerated with a rebellious and slightly funky spirit that embodies the soul of the estate. At the helm of the young winemaking reality of Sette in Asti are Gianluca Colombo, Gino della Porta, and Gregorio Gitti, friends and partners who in 2017 started this small viticultural project on the hills of Monferrato, taking over vineyards and immediately converting them to organic and biodynamic agriculture. Each partner brings their own cultural and experiential background: Gianluca is a young winemaker from Langhe, Gino is a marketing consultant, while Gregorio is an important lawyer and politician from Lombardy who already owns the Castello di Perno winery in Monforte d’Alba.

Bianco Sette originates from only white grapes grown under organic and biodynamic regimes, with the utmost respect for nature and its cycles. In particular, the clusters come from a small vineyard of about 25 years of age facing north and planted on soils rich in limestone, sand, silicates, and silt. Throughout the development period, the grapes are left shaded by the leaves to preserve the heritage in organic acids of the berries. After the manual harvest, the destemming of the clusters follows, and the skin maceration of 24-48 hours, with the alcoholic fermentation occurring spontaneously in a slow and gradual manner in Tava ceramic amphorae thanks to the sole intervention of indigenous yeasts.

Light orange is the color of the white wine from the Piedmontese winery Sette, which on the nose evokes hints of ripe peach, citrus zest, wildflowers, and Mediterranean herbs, accompanied by pleasant notes of yeast. Fresh and rustic sip, savory and well-structured, with a pleasant and fragrant tasting finish.
