The Bourgogne Rouge by David Duband is a red wine made from Pinot Noir with a noble and elegant demeanor. Thanks to the hand of the young vigneron and the careful selection of grapes from the best parcels of Burgundy. Notes of berries, floral fragrances, and spicy hints animate a soft and fresh body, velvety and balanced, of refined finesse.

The Bourgogne Rouge from the David Duband winery is a intense, fresh, and elegant red wine produced in Chevannes, in the heart of the Côte de Nuits, the pulsating heart of the Burgundy region in France. Made from pure Pinot Noir grapes, it comes from mainly flat vineyards, cultivated at high planting density using the traditional low bush method with Guyot pruning on soils characterized by predominantly clayey soils rich in stones and pebbles. The winery is a historic family-run business, owning 17 hectares of vineyards managed by David Duband, who in 2008, converting to organic farming methods, began producing more territorial wines, less dense and angular, seeking the purity of the fruit and focusing on achieving an original style.

The Bourgogne Rouge by Duband is produced with carefully selected grapes both in the vineyard and in the winery, hand-picked towards the end of September. The bunches, upon reaching the winery, are destemmed and gently pressed before undergoing alcoholic fermentation, using exclusively indigenous yeasts, in stainless steel tanks with frequent pump-overs and a maceration on the skins of about 17 days. The wine is then racked with a press of the skins, after which it undergoes malolactic fermentation in French oak barriques, where it subsequently ages for at least 14 months before being transferred to tanks where it continues to mature for an additional 3 months before being bottled and finally ready for sale.

The Bourgogne Pinot Noir by David Duband presents itself with a light ruby red color with slight garnet reflections. On the nose, intense aromas of red fruit and berries appear, including cherry, raspberry, and currant, floral notes of peony, rose, and other fresh red flowers, light spicy hints, finishing with slight undertones of underbrush and mineral notes. On the palate, it is refined, energetic, decisive, and marked, characterized by a fine and well-integrated tannic structure and a mineral freshness that gives verticality and pleasantness to the sip. This Bourgogne Rouge from the David Duband winery is excellent both for its quality-price ratio and for the clean and precise style of the producer who creates wines of great expressiveness and stature.
