The Brunello di Montalcino Pertimali Sassetti is a full-bodied and enveloping red wine made from Sangiovese grapes from the famous Ilcinese area: it ages for 36 months in large Slavonian oak barrels and expresses a rich and identity-filled bouquet, with notes of ripe plums, berries, candied orange, oriental spices, and star anise, while on the palate it is structured and full-bodied, with excellent freshness and tannicity.
